Melissa Durda Melissa Durda is Senior Director, Philanthropy at Synergos and oversees the Synergos Spiritual Civilization Collaborative Community and Funders of Mindfulness & Spirituality programs for members of the Global Philanthropists Circle, a global community of funders working to shape a movement to shift consciousness and accelerate impact. Program activities promote the sharing of projects and learnings, explore and support collaborations, and provide a space for members to engage in contemplative and reflective practices. The Synergos Cultivate the Soul podcast series, Wisdom Square on Instagram and One Minute Wisdom video series examine the intersection of philanthropy, contemplative practices, self-reflection and spirituality. Melissa is a certified holistic life coach and the founder of Global Artisan Life.
Gretchen Steidle

Gretchen Ki Steidle is the Founder and President of Global Grassroots, a mindfulness-based social venture incubator for women in East Africa. She is also Founder of Circles for Conscious Change, LLC, which works with social entrepreneurs, non-profits, and corporations on the use of mindfulness as a design tool for social innovation. Gretchen is author of Leading from Within: Conscious Social Change and Mindfulness for Social Innovation (2017 MIT Press). Gretchen is also a producer of the Emmy-nominated documentary film, The Devil Came on Horseback, and co-author of the memoir of the same name (2007 PublicAffairs).
